End of watch. Periscope still up.
Questions from the crew
Ask on the intercom. Answers come back short.
Why is the captain a dog?
Inu is the Japanese word for dog. The submarine had an open slot.
Does he steer?
He holds the periscope. Steering is a rumor.
What is the crew doing?
Listening.
Where is the submarine going?
Down first, then wherever the dog points.
Why is everything red?
Alarm lamp. He likes the look of it.
